ROLE SUMMARYJoin our team as a Food Runner and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge du Soleil family, you will be responsible for, quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to the guests and ensuring they have everything they need.
PAY RANGE$24 - $28 / hour (this includes the hourly rate tips and is an estimate based on business)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Assisting servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience, and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner
  • Assist the Servers and Bartenders in complying with the Forbes standards 
  • Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables rapidly and accurately
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
  • Check-in with guests upon delivery of dishes and ensure they have everything they need, as needed
  • Remove dirty dishes and utensils, as needed
  • Inform Captains about guests’ feedback or requests

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification (can be obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • Food Handler's Certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in the food service/hospitality industry
